3rd Workshop in Canakkale (15-16 September 2011)

Organic Product Producers and Industrialists Association (ORGUDER), Turkey

During 15th and 16th of September 2011, the third transnational meeting of the project "EcoQualifyIII" (2010-1-GR1-LEO05-03967) was held in Canakkale (Turkey), at Truva Hotel.

The aims of the meeting were to present:
  • The activities carried out by the consortium during the first year of the project,
  • The results of WP3 "Adaptation of Quality Assurance System for training in organic foods retailing to the national requirements"
  • The work Plan and Working Packages - organizing project activities for the next project period
  • Directions for the elaboration of the interim report
At 17th September, 2011, the partners visited the ORGUDER's president and his Organic shop and hosted by Ayhan Sumerli

2nd Workshop in Plovdiv (28-29 April 2011)
Organizing Associations: Higher School "Agricultural College" and Eurocentre - Land and Environment/Bulgaria

During 28th and 29th of April 2011, the second transnational meeting of the project "EcoQualifyIII" (2010-1-GR1-LEO05-03967) was held in Plovdiv ( Bulgaria ), at Conference Hall in Novotel Plovdiv.

The aims of the meeting were:
  • Discussion of the performed tasks and evaluation of the partners' performance for the first stage of the project.
  • Presentation of results of Framework analysis by representatives of each importer country (Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey).
  • Analysing the results of testing phase in the exporter countries.
  • Discussion about the perspectives for adaptation and implementation of QAS in the importer countries.
  • Discussion and review of comments on Quality Handbook content.
  • Discussion on the partners' responsibilities and tasks to elaborate the products planned until the next partner meeting.v

1st Workshop in Vienna (AU) (18-19 November 2010).
Organizing association: Organic Retailers Association (ORA)
1. During last 18th and 19th of November 2010, the first transnational meeting of the project "EcoQualifyIII" (2010-1-GR1-LEO05-03967) was held in Vienna, in ORA's central headquarters (Seidengasse 33-35/13 A-1070 Vienna/Austria).
The meeting was attended by partners from:
  • Greece (1. University of Thessaly and 2. C.V.T. Georgiki Anaptixi)
  • Austria (Organic Retailers Association /ORA);
  • Bulgaria (1. Higher School "Agricultural College" and 2. Eurocentre - Land and Environment);
  • Germany (Institute Equalita);
  • Romania (Romanian Resource Center for the Promotion and Marketing of Organic Products - "EcoR Partner") and
  • Turkey (1. Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University and 2. Organic Product Producers and Industrialists Association (ORGUDER)).
The aims of the meeting were to get the partners known each other, to present the aims, the objectives and the results of EcoQualifyIII project and finally the responsibilities and tasks of each partner organisation.
